Easter Monday is the day after Easter Sunday and is a public holiday across much of Europe and in Australia and New Zealand. In Poland, the tradition of Śmigus-Dyngus sees people playfully dousing each other with water. In the UK, egg rolling competitions are popular, while in France children hunt for chocolate eggs said to be brought by bells returning from Rome.
