1. Acceptance

By using World on Time (worldontime.app), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

World on Time provides time, timezone, calendar, astronomy, weather, and holiday information. The service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising.

  • All core features are available without creating an account.
  • Creating an account is optional and allows you to sync preferences across devices.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service with or without notice.

3. Accuracy of data

We strive to provide accurate time and date information, but we make no warranties about accuracy. Do not rely on this service for safety-critical timing (aviation, medical, legal deadlines). Always verify with official sources.

4. Developer API

Our public API (/api/v1/) is provided free with a rate limit of 100 requests per day per IP. We may change limits, endpoints, or response formats with notice on the developers page. Do not use the API for anything that violates these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape or crawl the site in a way that burdens our infrastructure
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Reproduce or redistribute our content without permission

6. Intellectual property

The World on Time brand, logo, and original content are owned by Two Quarters Ventures Sdn. Bhd. Time and date data is factual and not owned by us. Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0). Holiday data is provided by Nager.Date (MIT licence).

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, World on Time is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
