World on Time (worldontime.app) is operated by Two Quarters Ventures Sdn. Bhd. We provide time, timezone, astronomy, weather, and holiday information tools. Contact: privacy@worldontime.app

2. What data we collect

Data you provide voluntarily

  • Cities and clocks you save (stored in your browser's localStorage — never sent to our servers unless you sign in)
  • Account email and password if you choose to create an account (stored securely in Supabase)

Data collected automatically

  • Server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) — retained for 30 days for security
  • Aggregated analytics via Google Analytics 4 (only after you grant cookie consent)
  • Advertising data via Google AdSense (only after you grant cookie consent)

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and improve the service
  • To show relevant advertising (AdSense, consent-gated)
  • To measure usage and fix bugs (Analytics, consent-gated)
  • To respond to support requests

We do not sell your data. We do not share personal data with third parties except as described in this policy.

4. Cookies

We use cookies for two purposes:

  • Strictly necessary: Storing your cookie consent preference. No consent required.
  • Analytics & advertising: Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense. These only load after you accept. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.

7. Data retention

  • Server logs: 30 days
  • Account data: retained while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of account deletion request
  • localStorage data: never sent to our servers; cleared when you clear browser data

8. Children

This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised date.
